La investigadora del grupo Violeta Sicilia impartió la conferencia invitada titulada "Light-active cyclometallated platinum complexes: molecular design and applications" en la XLLII Reunión del Grupo Especializado en Química Organometálica celebrado en Sevilla (España) del 11 al 13 de septiembre de 2024.
Prof. Violeta Sicilia, member of our research group, gave the invited talk "Light-active cyclometallated platinum complexes: molecular design and applications" in the XLLII Meeting of the Specialised Group on Organometallic Chemistry of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry held in Seville (Spain) from September 11 to September 13 2024.

Los jóvenes investigadores del grupo presentaron sus excelentes resultados en la XLLII Reunión del Grupo Especializado en Química Organometálica celebrado en Sevilla (España) del 11 al 13 de septiembre de 2024. De izquierda a derecha y de arriba a abajo: Purificación Cañadas, Irene Melendo, Juan Pueyo, Laura Martínez, Jorge Roy y Carmen Munarriz. Además, Juan fue galardonado con un premio por su póster.

Lorenzo Arnal Vallés defendió el pasado 2 de junio de 2023 en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Universidad de Zaragoza su tesis doctoral titulada "Cyclometalated N-heterocyclic carbenes and pyrazoles/pyrazolates: Well-suited ligands for Pt(II) complexes with outstanding luminiscence and redox properties" realizada bajo la dirección de la profesora Violeta Sicilia Martínez y la doctora Sara Fuertes Lorda. La tesis obtuvo la calificación de Sobresaliente cum laude. ¡Enhorabuena Dr. Arnal!. En la foto, de izquierda a derecha, el Dr. Pablo González-Herrero (Universidad de Murcia, tribunal), La Dra. Lorenzo Arnal Vallés defended his doctoral thesis entitled "Cyclometalated N-heterocyclic carbenes and pyrazoles/pyrazolates: Well-suited ligands for Pt(II) complexes with outstanding luminiscence and redox properties" at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Zaragoza on June 2 2023, carried out under the supervision of Prof. Violeta Sicilia Martínez and Dr. Sara Fuertes Lorda.
